| In today's (May 6, 2008) Washington Post there is an article about political candidates who openly pander to the blue collar common folks. Obama is out bowling and "hooping it up." Hillary has been whooping it up in local bars, downing a shot of whiskey with a beer chaser. She has also been seen eating hot dogs (no, I won't go there) with all the rank and file. |

| But these two have nothing on the late Gerald Ford. Seems when Ford was on the campaign trail in '76 he stopped off in a Texas border town and had hisself some tamales. He proceeded to eat the tamale...With the wrapping still on! He said they were "delicious"! Ha! |
