| As a teenager I remember riding a bus thorugh Oakland's Hmong/Cambodian community with a friend. As we were peering through the window we witnessed a Cambodian family chasing a cat down the street. My friend screamed "RUUUNNN!" out of the window. He then remarked to me that the Cambodians were going to eat the cat as was their "custom" in their country. I do believe, however, that the cats are finally fighting back! |
