| DIRECTOR'S NOTES: This flick is another homage to the b-movies of yesteryear. It was a bit more ambitious than "Oracle", we went from an 15 minute short to a 55 minute featurette. Again, progress was made, even though it was a tiny baby step forward. I should say that the last act of the script was re-written from scratch just a day or two before shooting commenced. Don't ask what happened. This flick is available through Maxim Media International in Arizona. It was released as part of a DVD compilation series called "Fatal Femmes". More people have probably seen this movie than all my others combined. |

| STORYLINE A series of gruesome, "vampire" style killings on campus have student Sarah (Kirstin McLaughlin) scared of her own shadow. And it doesn't help when her new dorm mate, Lilith (Alexandra Ackerman), is a bit on the eccentric side. She wears only gothic clothing, she's afraid of crosses and mirrors and garlic and displays all of the outward appearances of a television vampire. Soon Sarah becomes convinced Lilith is somehow involved with the murders...And when no one believes her, Sarah is forced to deal with the monster(s) alone... A Candle In the Dark was shot in September of 2002. |
